Yoga Play, based in Staplehurst, Kent, offers face-to-face yoga classes, workshops and private tuition. With Ali’s thoughtful teaching cues, you will experience the joy of being in your body. It doesn’t matter how old you are, what shape you are, or how much experience you have of yoga. You will learn to move like you, exploring the breath, finding your own rhythm and creating shapes which interest you. You will tap into your balance, strength and energy.
Ali will take you through traditional yoga postures, linked together with playful movement. There will always be options for you, depending on your mood and energy today. You will learn how to tune into what your body needs in this moment.
Yoga Play is grounded in traditional hatha yoga, combining asana (postures) with pranayama (breath control) and easy meditation. Yoga can help with:
General fitness, including cardiovascular health
Building strength and flexibility in all joints and muscles
Managing long-term health conditions, stress, depression and anxiety
Recovery from illness or injury
Balancing out other forms of exercise, such as sports, running and cycling

If you have already tried online yoga, then face-to-face classes will help you develop your practice. Ali can help you with postures that will most benefit your body.
